Just a quick prayer request from out here in the Diocese of Harrisburg:
The other day at Mass an announcement was made that one of the priests, Fr. Coakley, who is a recovering alcoholic, was involved in a car accident in which he was driving drunk.
Now, I'm not an overly sensitive or emotional person and not too many things really hurt me deep down, but when I heard this, my heart truly broke for him. Bishop Rhoades is having him go through rehabilitation until he is better recovered before he is allowed to celebrate Mass again.
Please pray for him, his physical and spiritual health, and for his successful recovery.
